Summer Festivals in UK
Soul Funk Secret is looking to be booked at some of the summer festivals around UK and Europe. There have been some questions raised by the promoters in Europe in regards to Brexit. The questions involve bureaucracy not understood by us musicians and most of the time by the bookers. Uncertainty is a general feel from both sides of the live music business. Soul Funk Secret performed in numerous European countries in the past where no questions asked. Only recently when planning a small tour in Spain, bookers were worries booking musicians with English passports. Live music, let’s keep it alive!! The last thing in the politician’s mind right now is definitely not live music. Bands from the UK performing at weddings, parties or festivals might have some kind of special agreement if a no deal is the final outcome of Brexit, that would be disastrous for us musicians.
