The remaining payment must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the event (by bank transfer or cheque) or as cash, paid at the start of the performance.
Client Responsibilities
It is the client’s duty to ensure that the performance venue is able to provide a safe source of power and a safe performance area.
If non-performance results due to venue restrictions, the client will still be liable for cancellation fee as outlined in these terms and conditions.
It is also the client’s duty to ensure that the band is provided with adequate refreshments throughout their stay at the performance venue.
The minimum that must be available is a free supply of mineral water and soft drinks (supply of any alcohol is at the client’s discretion), a hot meal or buffet for all members contracted.
The terms and conditions are negotiable in regards to the provisions outlined, but any modification must be written in the contract.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation more than 4 weeks in advance of the performance, the band will have the right to keep the 25% deposit.
In the event of cancellation between 2 and 1 week the band will have the right to receive the 50% of the total amount agreed on the contract.
In the event of cancellation less than 1 week the full amount fee will be paid to the band as we will have dedicated all our resources to appearing at your event.
PA and Lighting
The band can supply a PA system for up to a capacity of 300 people if necessary. In case of a bigger audience, the client can decide to provide the appropriate sound system and lighting or ask the band to hire the additional equipment from other sources.
All the equipment provided by the band is PAT tested.
Performance duration
To be agreed and written on the contract of Live Engagement.
The band, in any case, will normally perform a total of 2 hours.
The sound check time will also be agreed between the client and band.
Once the equipment has been set-up and tested, the band can agree to leave CDs playing through the PA system before the performance and in between sets.
The band will bring a selection of CDs, or they can play the client’s own selection.
